I began painting and drawing at a young age and have pursued art ever since. I’m totally self-taught and am always looking to better my art through experimentation with many techniques and styles, as well as subjects. Many of my works have been sold at private showings and exhibitions. My goal is to exhibit my work at galleries and exhibitions to market them to a larger audience. I am also happily accepting and have completed commissions for whatever subject a client may wish.
Inspiration comes from years of travel to many places in the world, and from a variety of experiences and situations which have influenced my thoughts. I love the natural surroundings in Utah. In addition, the scenes of the West, including portraits, are of special interest and inspiration for me. Much of my work centers on the Western Heritage which the residents of Utah and the surrounding States have in great abundance. My many friends and family have also helped by bringing images from their travels which they would like to have reproduced in painted form through my eyes.
